A week ago, Class Dojo enabled students to create accounts. If you are a Class Dojo user, you probably received an email that directed you to login to access secret codes for your students.
Accounts can be created without the secret code; however, the code connects student accounts to their classroom, so they’re going to need the code. When registering, students must provide an email (or a parent email for ages 12 and under).
Students create accounts here: student.classdojo.com
Once a student has logged in and entered the secret code, they can customize their avatar (which will show up on the teacher’s screen after it’s saved) They can also view their weekly point totals.
Student logins have created quite a buzz. Class Dojo has been overwhelmed with the response, as their servers had to be upgraded to take on the new surge of users.
With student accounts, Class Dojo users are excited about the possibilities for new additional features that could be added in the future, such as the ability for a student to use points to unlock more customizations or virtual items for an avatar.
